Sunny's
Route 36 at the edge of town · since 1991 · cash, card, or “next time”
Breakfast, all day, all night
Three pancakes the size of hubcaps. We are not exaggerating. Bring a friend.
Toast, home fries, bottomless coffee.
Home fries, peppers, onions, sausage, two eggs, cheese, regret.
Thick-cut. Kevin from SIMP says ours is better than his. Kevin is being nice.
The Plates
Home fries, mac salad, two cheeseburgers, meat sauce, onions & mustard. Cures hangovers. Causes naps. Our version of the Rochester classic.
For people who think they can't. You can.
Grilled cheese, tomato soup, a slice of pie, no questions.
Pie & sweets
Ask your waitress. It's apple. It's always apple in October.
Vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, or “the pink one.”
Coffee
It is actually bottomless. Finals week regulars have tested this.
House rules
- Open 24 hours, 7 days. Christmas Day too. Sunny has never closed.
- If you are short on money, eat anyway. Sunny keeps a tab. Sunny never collects the tab.
- If you are rude to a waitress, you are done here. Forever. Sunny remembers faces better than Dee Marchetti.
- No fighting about the Rut vs. Embers in booth 6. Booth 6 is for breakups.
From Sunny: Every after-party, every all-nighter and every breakup in this town ends at my counter. Sit down. Eat something. You look tired, honey.
