You're #19 in line. Van 4 is on its way. Stay where you are. Drink some water.

How it works

1

Open the app

Log in with your Hornell email. Yes, the same one Bleat uses. No, they don't talk to each other.

2

Pick up, drop off

Anywhere in the Hornell city limits, plus Lot K on game days. Not Climax. We've been asked.

3

Find the white van

It's white. It says NXWAY. It's the only van on Brewer Street with its hazards on and a student driver staring at you.

Rules of the van

One rider, one seat. Laps are not seats.
No open containers. We can see it. It's a red cup.
No food in the van. We know about the Dumpster Plate. We have all smelled the Dumpster Plate.
If you're going to be sick, say “NXWAY” and we pull over. It's the code word. Use it early.
The driver controls the music. After 2 a.m. the driver may, at their discretion, allow requests.
What happens in the van is reported to no one. Unless it's a crime. Or extremely funny.

Questions

How long is the wait?

About 25 minutes on weekend nights. Longer after a home win, during Horn Week, and every Thursday when the Rut lets out at 1:30.

Can I take a Nxway to a party?

You can take a Nxway to an address. What happens at the address is between you and Hornell PD.

Do drivers really see everything?

Yes. They have a group chat. It's the best group chat on campus, and you will never be in it.

I left something in the van.

Lost and found is at the HUPD front desk: phones, one shoe, IDs (real), IDs (fake, now on the Wall of Shame), and a single tiara.

Can I drive?

$17 an hour, nights only, clean license, a strong stomach. Training is one evening and a video from 2011.
