Beta Rho Alpha Tau

Beta Rho

“We never use the nickname. Neither should you.”

Founded in 1903, Beta Rho Alpha Tau is the oldest sorority at Hornell University. Our home on Greek Row, a white Georgian with black shutters, has been held in trust for the chapter by the Van Wyck family since 1962.

Beta Rho women wear pearls on Bid Day and white on game days. Our sisters go on to law, finance, media and public life, and they remember who was kind to them.

Recruitment is by invitation. We will find you.
